Description
The 34th edition of FIMP (Porto International Puppet Festival) opens at the TNSJ with the latest creation of the Limite Zero company, staged by Raul Constante Pereira. Aimed at young audiences, Horizonte [Horizon] tells the story of an exemplary peregrination. João, a 7-year-old boy from Paradela, Miranda do Douro, departs to Esposende to fulfil his dream of seeing the sea. After assembling a bundle to carry some clothing and food, he boldly sets on his small odyssey. Along the way, he encounters a succession of animals, bizarre fauna that helps him overcome his fears and troubles. A fable of journey and friendship, Horizonte comes to us from a time when dreams were fulfilled and animals could speak.
