The TEatroensaio company comes to visit us with a pair of already familiar initiatives, Fora de Palcos and Cinensaio. On 28 February, we host the launch of issue 8 of Ensaios de Teatro magazine, which features texts by, among others, Dominique Rabaté, Filipa Malva, Jorge Palinhos, Micaela Barbosa and Pedro Estorninho, followed by the staged reading of excerpts from Paulinho Oliveira’s Grande Castelo Lampedusa, the text that won DramaTEns 2019, TEatroensaio’s annual dramaturgy competition. On the next day, the company invites Porto audiences to a showing of some of the films that won awards at the latest edition (2019) of the Cinanima festival. This event is the result of a partnership between TEatroensaio and Cinanima that dates back to 2012, with the TNSJ’s support.
