Rebellion and the time to come are the key concepts of the show that will be presented during the 2024 edition of the NÓS/NOUS project. The director Nuno M Cardoso brings to the stage a text by the Galician playwright Ana Carreira, inspired by the sharing of life experiences between the project’s participants. The time to come being a given, how should we experience it? Passively or actively? The show focuses on generational issues linked to the expression of freedom (and its loss), identity, rebelliousness and disobedience regarding norms, prejudices and instituted rules. NÓS/NOUS is a project aimed at enriching theatrical culture exchanges between France, Galicia and Portugal, considering them as a common scenic territory. Developed by the National Theatres of Porto and Lisbon, the Centro Dramático Galego and Les Célestins – Théâtre de Lyon in collaboration with four Drama Schools, the project promotes the professionalisation and internationalisation of final-year drama students by putting them in contact with internationally renowned creators.
